The results are in from the Hotelier Middle East Salary Survey 2009 – the first comprehensive study into the earning potential and job satisfaction of hospitality professionals in the region.
Carried out online via HotelierMiddleEast.com, it was open to hospitality industry professionals from across the region at all levels.
The response was enormous, with 431 respondents from more than 25 countries taking part between April 16 and May 20.
This means, of course, that the results were wide-ranging, with responses from everyone from bar and food service staff, through to sales managers and finance executives, all the way up to GMs and company CEOs.
