Liam Crotty is the newly appointed Chef de Cuisine atThe Kitchen, the all day dining restaurant at Hyatt Regency Dubai & Galleria.

Liam’s career with Hyatt began back in June 2007 when he joined Grand Hyatt Dubai’s busy banquet operations, later being promoted to Sous Chef at Market Café restaurant.

A native of Ireland, Liam discovered his passion for cooking during his childhood, when at the young age of 13 he had his first kitchen job at Bayview Hotel in Ballycotton, Cork Ireland.

Liam graduated from a professional cookery course at Cork Institute of Technology in Bishopstown in 2003.

Immediately after, Liam pursued a career in the culinary industry by working in some of the finest restaurants in Ireland until he joined Packies Seafood restaurant, shortlisted as one of Ireland’s most loved restaurant, as a Sous Chef in March 2004.
