Atlantis, The Palm has won Virgin Holiday’s Best Family Resort 2009, a year after opening its doors to guests.
The secret to the property's success lay in its "strong family offering", according to Atlantis senior vice president of sales Brett Armitage.
Armitage cited Atlantis's range of recreational activities, the largest themed water park in the Middle East, Aquaventure, as well as its restaurants and entertainment facilities, as reasons for the hotel's success.
