Andy Cuthbert is to replace Abdin Nasralla as the general manager of Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, according to HME.com sources.
Although Jumeirah couldn't confirm the appointment, HotelierMiddleEast.com was told by industry sources that Nasralla would be appointed general manager of the Meydan Hotel, also operated by Jumeirah Group.
Cuthbert, who was EAM in charge of F&B at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, has also been chairman of the Emirates Culinary Guild for the last ten years.

Nasralla was the Hotelier Middle East Awards 2009 General Manager of The Year.
