The Bonnington Hotel in Jumeirah Lakes Towers has appointed Purnima Sunil as their new director of sales.
Purnima joins the The Bonnington’s management team from Novotel & Ibis World Trade Centre, where she has been Director of Sales, overlooking the sales activities of 622 rooms.
Purnima brings a wealth of experience spanning more than 15 years in the hospitality industry.

She began her career in India with The Resort Beach Hotel in Mumbai, moving to Oman in 1995.
She has spent the last 15 years in the Middle East, developing her sales skills with various hotel chains across the G.C.C region, including the Al Sawadi Beach Resort Rotana in Oman and The Sheraton, Yemen.
In 2005 she joined the Novotel & Ibis Trade Centre where she specialised in travel trade and corporate accounts.
Commenting on her appointment, Purnima said “I am looking forward to the challenge of directing the sales efforts at Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
The priority this year is to develop a forceful marketing campaign to build brand awareness within the G.C.C region, and to exceed our targets.”
