The 46th Rezidor Business School took place in Abu Dhabi this week at the Radisson Blu and Park Inn hotels on Yas Island.
Speaking at the event, Jan Spooren, Director People Development at Rezidor said: “As part of the award winning Rezidor 5-STEP People Development Programme, The Business School @ Rezidor is one of many ways for our employees to learn and develop themselves, which in turn will assist the company to grow and develop.”
More than 120 Rezidor employees from hotels across the Middle East and Africa region attended the five day development school, participating in 11 different classes to further enhance their skills.

The Business School @ Rezidor, which takes place every quarter, is held in different hotel locations so that participants get to experience staying in one of Rezidor’s hotels.
The aim of the courses is to have a positive impact on the key business objectives of guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction and owner satisfaction, and the school has also proved to be a talent spotting vehicle that has helped the company identify future Rezidor leaders.
“The philosophy of our company has always been to promote people from within the organisation and as such, Rezidor has always firmly believed in career development and talent growth,” Spooren added.
