The final deadline for nominations for the Hotelier Middle East Awards has been extended to September 1.
Hotelier has already received more than 500 entries, and many more are expected in the final week.
Categories cover the full spectrum of roles from back of house to front of house, such as IT Manager and Engineer through to Sommelier and Concierge.

ITP Business group editor, hospitality, Louise Oakley said: “The Hotelier Awards provide general managers with a great opportunity to recognise the achievements of their team members, so if you have not nominated already, we are delighted to be able to extend the deadline to September 1.
“So far, more than 500 nominations have been received from Saudi Arabia to Abu Dhabi in all categories and from luxury hotels through to midscale properties, which is fantastic.
“At this late stage in the nomination process, I would urge hotels not to forget their back of house teams as we have many categories dedicated to them, and also to put forward more entries for the Unsung Hero of the Year — the category that always gets people talking.”

For the first time in 2010, Hotelier has launched the Team of the Year Award category.

The deadline for nominations for Team of the Year is Friday, September 10.
