Jumeirah Group has been appointed to operate the upcoming Zabeel Saray hotel on The Palm, Jumeirah, HotelierMiddleEast.com can exclusively reveal.
The management contract for the luxury hotel was originally held by Turkish hospitality company Rixos Hotels, which was signed up to operate the property two and half years ago.
A spokesperson for Rixos Hotels confirmed that its management contract had been terminated and awarded to Jumeirah Group.

He said: “A legal procedure is underway and at this point we can make no further comments”.
Jumeirah is believed to be gearing up to open the property on October 1.
At the time of writing, HotelierMiddleEast.com was unable to get in contact with the Jumeirah Group.
