Hotelier Middle East Awards shortlist

Not even listing Etienne Haro in your top 5 shows how irrelevant your award is. What more do you want a restaurant manager to achieve in only 18 months? A Nobel Prize?

I wouldn't say it makes the award irrelevant it just shows how stiff the competition is. I know Etienne and he is an incredible talent, but so are the other managers and there can only be one winner meaning many will be dissapointed

Congratulations to Olivier and Julien from Reflets for both making the shortlist. Crazy that Etienne did not make it but I know he is much more happy to see them there than being there himself.

In receiving the shortlist nominations we celebrate those from IHG DFC that made it through. but like any awards, its not about who wins or who does not make it, its a reflection of those around us that got us to where we are. i know that for those who were nominated, they are committed to the approach of excellence and for those that have been shortlisted, it is a step closer to the recognition you deserve. for those not listed, im sure recognition has and will continue to come from many angles. good luck to all and good luck to my IHG DFC Colleagues.
