Program Objectives:

By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

* Function as a tools application member of a Six Sigma team.
* Lead and execute process-level improvement projects.
* Collect process data and develop process maps.
* Develop statistical hypotheses using simple statistical tools.
* Design simple experiments that help validate improvement options.
* Work with process owners to ensure process gains are held.

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for Service course is designed to prepare individuals to support process improvement efforts in a transactional /service environment.
Green Belts provide value within the organization's Six Sigma initiative in a variety of ways. Key Green Belt responsibilities include:

* Actively working on a Six Sigma project.
* Applying the Six Sigma tools and discipline to Six Sigma improvement projects, including
o Collection and analysis of data
o Development of process maps
o Assistance to the Black Belt in certain levels of statistical analysis.
* Supporting and participating in project reviews.

Note 1: Certificate of Completion is issued by Meirc and ASQ upon the successful completion of a Six Sigma project.
Note 2: Certification on Six Sigma can be obtained from ASQ by registering on the ASQ exam on www.ASQ.org
