Rosewood Abu Dhabi on Sowwah Island has reached its final height of 143 metres and is structurally complete.

Developer Mubadala Real Estate & Hospitality (MREH) commemorated the event with a ceremony on level 32 of the hotel attended by members of the Arabian Construction Company, Rosewood Hotels and Handel Architects.

Speaking after the ceremony, Peter Wilding, executive director MREH, said: “Rosewood Abu Dhabi will offer guests an elegant experience in the dynamic urban environment at Sowwah Island. We are delighted by this milestone achievement and I congratulate our construction partners on this important occasion”.

Rosewood Abu Dhabi is scheduled to open in 2012. It will offer 189 guest rooms and suites, 131 serviced residences and six penthouses, as well as a variety of signature dining offerings and Sense, a Rosewood Spa™, an 18,000ft² beauty, wellness and fitness retreat.
