Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi has welcomed a new general manager to the property.

Bugra Berberoglu has joined Emirates Palace from the Levant region where he was heading either Kempinski hotels, and replaces the previous general manager Hans Obertz, who had been with the property for three years.

HE Sultan Al Humairi, managing director of Emirates Palace Company thanked Obertz during his farewell occasion.

Obertz left Emirates Palace to take on new duties in Vienna, Austria, where Kempinski is due to open a new property in 2012.
