The maid at the centre of the Strauss-Kahn ‘sex attack’ case has made an emotional appeal to the public during a news conference, just one week after revealing her identity.
Nafissatou Diallo, the hotel maid who accuses ex-IMF boss Dominique Strauss-Khan of attacking her in a hotel room at the Sofitel New York hotel, told a press conference that she wants no other women to suffer like her.
Diallo’s lawyer Kenneth Thompson also informed press that he would be pursuing a civil case against Strauss-Khan if the criminal case did not go ahead — following the DA’s disclosure that they discovered discrepancies in Diallo’s case.
