The Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas on Saadiyat Island will open tomorrow, November 1.

The hotel, owned by Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) and operated by Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, will be the first to open on the Abu Dhabi island, which is being developed by Tourism Development Investment Company (TDIC).

Located on a nine-kilometre stretch of environmentally-protected, natural sand beach, the resort will be the largest Park Hyatt property in the world with 306 keys, including 39 suites and four private villas. It is adjacent to the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and minutes from the city’s prime business district and the Corniche.

While some minor delays pushed the original opening back from October 15, the hotel will be open in time for the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix from November 11-13, which was a key target, according to Hyatt International - South West Asia managing director Peter Fulton.

Resort activitities include four swimming pools, a range of water sports, an Atarmia Spa with nine treratment rooms, fitness facilities, a tennis court and children’s clubk..

The Hyatt also includes several dining options, serving a wide selection of cuisines from around the world.
