Alaska police have apprehended a former hotel employee of the Millennium Anchorage Hotel that they claim was responsible for the shooting of the hotel's general manager.

According to a police spokesperson, Victor Flores shot hotel manager Kerry Fadely on Saturday in the kitchen of the Millenium Alaskan hotel. He then fled the scene, while local police conducted a room-to-room search.

Flores was eventually apprehended four hours later at his residence. Police described him as a "disgruntled" employee who had been fired by Fadely a week earlier. He is charged with first-degree murder.
