New urban resort Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas on Saadiyat Island has opened the Atarmia Spa, a wellness facility inspired by Arabic aromatherapy.

The spa, managed by Nichola Roche, offers “indulgently healing treatments” and a selection of signature journeys, including Opulence of Atarmia, Lustrous Atarmia and Brilliance of Atarmia, lasting up to four and a half hours.

Other bespoke treatments at Atarmia Spa include the award-winning La Alternativa — billed as the alternative to Botox facial, hydrafacials and the Quiro Golf Massage.

Spread over two floors, the spa features nine treatment rooms including one VIP couples treatment room and three rooms with private outdoor terraces. Each treatment room has its own rain shower, while the the VIP couples room also features a whirlpool, a lounging area and an extensive space for relaxation.

Atarmia Spa also features an outdoor 25-metre lap pool, an array of hydrotherapy facilities, a manicure and pedicure salon, a fitness room with the latest equipment, a stretching studio, a sauna, steam room and whirlpool, and a tennis court
