Missoni Hotel Kuwait, operated by Carlson Rezidor, is being rebranded as The Symphony Style Hotel Kuwait, one of the first member hotels of Quorvus Collection.

Carlson Rezidor announced back in March that it had agreed to terminate its worldwide master licence agreement with fashion house Missoni for the development and operation of the Hotel Missoni brand.

Previously, in Febraury, it unveiled two new international hotel brands, with the creation of Radisson Red and Quorvus Collection hotels.

Also joining the Kuwait hotel in the Quorvus Collection are The May Fair Hotel London and the G&V Royal Mile Hotel Edinburgh, which was also previously a Missoni hotel.

The Rezidor Hotel Group president and CEO Wolfgang Neumann said: “We are delighted to welcome three iconic hotels to Quorvus Collection, our latest luxury brand. Each property has its own unique style, personality and heritage with one essential factor at the core – a five-star luxury hotel experience.”

The Symphony Style Hotel Kuwait, which joins the Quorvus Collection with immediate effect, is part of the Symphony complex in Salmiya, the main shopping and entertainment district of Kuwait City.

The interior is designed by Rosita Missoni and echoes the colours of desert and sea: gold, sand and turquoise.

The hotel features three restaurants: “Cucina” serving authentic Italian cuisine, “Luna” offering Arabic food with a Mediterranean twist, and “Choco Café” celebrating a true coffee culture.

Six event spaces ranging from exclusive board rooms to an elegant ballroom, an outdoor pool, and a Six Senses Spa complement the hotel’s services.

Neumann said Carlson Rezidor planned a “global portfolio of 20 hotels in operation and under development by 2020 through conversions and newly built urban hotels and resorts” for the Quorvus Collection.
