W Doha Hotel & Residences is inviting guests to ‘Stay Connected’ with a new 24/7 interactive messaging service.

Guests are now able to instantly communicate with hotel staff through their chosen service, including Whatsapp, Blackberry Messenger, Twitter and Instagram.

The new ‘Stay Connected’ service has been designed to enhance and personalise guest experience both before and during their stay with on-the-button service throughout.

W Doha Hotel & Residences general manager Safak Guvenc said: “W Doha is dedicated to delivering the best experiences to guests at every point in their journey.

“Today, travellers are more tech-savvy than ever before – ‘Stay Connected’ allows us to be one step ahead when it comes to guest personalisation standards”.

The initiative is a further step in the Whatever/Wherever service, which allowed guests access to whatever they wanted at any time using the ‘Whatever/Whenever’ button on their in-room telephone.

From room reservations to hotel pick-ups, booking backstage tickets to a concert, ordering bespoke cupcakes or a spa treatment, the personalised service is available day and night.

The 292-key hotel also invites keen social media users to use ‘tweeps’ or ‘Instabook’, which are dedicated and customised booking systems on Twitter and Instagram respectively.

Users can connect with the hotel’s E-Insider through the hotel’s Twitter or Instagram profile, @wdoha, and use the hashtag #bookwdoha to make a hotel reservation. W Doha started taking Twitter reservations in April this year.
