Dusit Thani Dubai has received silver certification from EarthCheck for the fourth time for its environmental efforts.

Environmental practices adopted by the hotel included the use of energy-efficient lighting, the minimisation of water consumption, recycling of solid waste products, and use of recycled products whenever possible.

To gain its EarthCheck Certified status, Dusit Thani Dubai was required to submit a year’s worth of operational data for benchmarking.

This was then compared to operational data submitted by similar organisations before being rated against EarthCheck’s baseline and best practice levels.
