Heinrich Morio has left his position as general manager at the Burj Al Arab to take up the same role at Palazzo Versace in Dubai.
The US-born hotelier had been general manager at the iconic Dubai hotel since 2008, having initially joined operator Jumeirah Group in 2004.
He is now leading the pre-opening team at the much-anticipated Palazzo Versace, which is located on the banks of Dubai Creek.
The opening of the hotel was last year pushed to the second half of 2014, although developer Enshaa is currently not confirming any planned dates. As recently as July construction work was still ongoing.
