UAE-based hospitality group JA Resorts & Hotels has officially inaugurated its debut international property in the Seychelles.

Enchanted Island Resort, located within one of the Indian Ocean archipelago's protected National Marine Parks, initially opened in January.

On August 29, it hosted its inaugural event, attended by Sir James R. Mancham, founding president of the Republic of the Seychelles, government ministers, ambassadors, dignitaries, VIPs and business partners.

Minister of Tourism & Culture Alain St. Ange led the ribbon cutting ceremony, which was also attended by Nelson Gibb, COO of JA Resorts and Hotels’ owning company Dutco Group, Sunil Shah of Trinity Estates and owner of Round Island and David Thomson, COO of JA Resorts & Hotels.

The resort is home to ten boutique style villas and is located just a 15-minute motorboat ride away from the main island of Mahé. It is spread over five acres with the villas designed to reflect the island's traditional Creole-Seychellois architecture.

Each villa has a private infinity pool, outdoor deck, gazebo, rain shower, French bathtub, king-size bed, complimentary Wi-Fi, a dedicated 24/7 butler service and more besides.
