Afif Salibi has been appointed as the new director of operations at Raffles Dubai.
He brings more than 12 years of hospitality experience to his new role, seven of which have been with FRHI, and has previously held senior management positions at leading Raffles and Fairmont properties around the world.
Salibi first joined Raffles Dubai in 2007 as assistant front office manager and was promoted to front office manager in 2008.

Two years later, he moved to Cambodia as director of rooms at Raffles Hotel Le Royal Phnom Penh, before joining The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, Edmonton in Canada as director of operations.
Commenting on his appointment, Raffles Dubai general manager Ayman Gharib said: “We are delighted to welcome Afif to Raffles Dubai. With an illustrious career highlighted by progressive growth, and experience holding senior positions in both Raffles and Fairmont’s leading properties, Afif is a proven operations leader and I am confident that he will contribute greatly to the success of Raffles Dubai.”
