Beach Rotana will host the 14th edition of Make a Difference Day on October 23.
The annual charity event will feature a superhero theme, with activities face painting and games dunking pool, as well as a treasure hunt for families and guests who wish to join the fun-village.
The event is aimed at raising funds for the Emirates Wildlife Society – World Wildlife Foundation, a non-profit organisation that supports the conservation of nature and the environment in the UAE, as well as the Make A Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi director of marketing and communications Joanna Koski said: “Both charity organisations do outstanding and incredibly valuable work and we are already looking forward to the positive impact Make A Difference Day will have on the lives of the children and the environment here in the UAE. Thanks to the great collaboration of everyone involved, we are certain that we will make a difference again with this year’s event.”
The hotel will be assisted in the organisation and execution of the event by students from the British International School of Abu Dhabi.
The event will also be supported by AirFrance KLM, Al Mansoori, Cobone, Europcar, KEO International Consultants, and Reve Calme.
