Hyatt Place Dubai/Baniyas Square opened on July 23, marking the brand’s second property in the Middle East, and the sixth hotel for the group in Dubai.
The new Hyatt Place joins Hyatt Place Dubai/Al Rigga, which opened last year.
Hyatt Place Dubai/Baniyas Square features a distinctive square design, 126 guest rooms, free WiFi throughout the hotel, a 24/7 Gallery Market where guests can buy salads, sandwiches, and other convenience food; a 24-hour gym, and an outdoor swimming pool.
The hotel also includes a team of Gallery Hosts, who are trained across various departments within the hotel, and can help guests with requests ranging from concierge services to housekeeping.
The hotel is located in Deira’s Nasser Square neighbourhood, across from the metro station and is 12 minutes from Dubai International Airport.
Earlier this month, Hotelier visited the new property prior to its opening and spoke to the team, including Mehra, who revealed there is at least one more Hyatt Place property in the pipeline for Dubai. Mehra would not reveal more details, but hinted at a third Deira location for the hotel.
In addition to Mehra, other members of the executive team – including the executive chef, director of sales and marketing, and more – will split their time between the two properties.
