The Arabic mini site, along with sites in Japenese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, will be active by the end of the year.

The Chinese and Russian sites are full sites similar to the brand’s English site, with similar content and functionality, as those two markets represents 17% of the group’s room night production.

In order to get beyond the ‘great firewall of China’, which blocks basic sites used around the world such as Google, Facebook and Instagram, Six Senses has also joined Chinese social media platforms WeChat, Youku and Sina Weibo.

Julia Gajcak, VP, marketing and communications, said: “The launch of the new language sites and social media platforms in China will better harness the power of Six Senses online testimonials and communications by increasing our global community of fans and followers.
