Eight baristas compete for top honours at the Kempinski Hotel Ajman as part of the hotel's inaugural barista competition for all five-star hotels in the Emirate.
On the first day, all eight competitors were tasked with brewing the perfect espresso, cappuccino and presenting their signature coffee-based beverage.
Four baristas were chosen for the final and Dinh Thuy Linh from Kempinski Hotel Ajman claimed top prize.
“By inviting neighbouring five-star hotels to participate and compete, we wanted to create awareness about our talented baristas. We are now buoyed to send Dinh for the UAE Barista Championship, that’s held in November in Dubai. Without a doubt we will be hosting many such events in the near future,” said Jerome Kamuhangire, beverage manager, Kempinski Hotel Ajman.
