Kempinski Hotel Ajman organised a beach clean-up event at the Ajman Marina waterfront to create awareness and emphasise on the importance of protecting the environment.
50 people participated in the activity, including staff members, hotel management and employees from the Ajman Municipality & Planning Department, collecting more than 60 bags of garbage.
Kempinski Hotel Ajman hotel manager Kai Schukowski said: “We take pride in our surroundings, our home. As the Ajman Marina is one of the newly opened popular local attractions, and in order to keep it that way, we need to raise awareness about preserving the atmosphere and surroundings, and organise such activities regularly.
“Such local initiatives are ways to preserve our community here in Ajman. Also, it is important to show that we care, because together we can make a difference. I am very thankful to my team for their commitment and the municipality for supporting to us.”
