Third-quarter 2015 business activity was strong in the majority of AccorHotel's markets, according to the latest reports.

Revenue totalled US $1694.41 million (€1,493 million), up 3.4% at constant scope of consolidation and exchange rates (LFL), and up 2.4% as reported.

The group also opened a reported 23,449 rooms across 154 hotels around the globe.

Sébastien Bazin, chairman and CEO of AccorHotels, said: "Third-quarter performance was in line with the trends observed since the beginning of the year, with strong business activity in most of the Group’s markets, flat demand in France and a rapid deterioration in Brazil reflecting a challenging economic environment.

"AccorHotels continues to deploy its strategy, with the initial success of the digital plan and fast growth for HotelServices, and the transformation of HotelInvest. In light of these elements, the Group refines the range of its 2015 EBIT forecast to between US $743.36 million and US $766 million (€655 million and €675 million)."

The Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa region alone accounted for a 10% like-for-like growth for the French-based hotelier.

The Middle East is a hotbed of activity for the group, operating a total of 72 properties, with an additional 42 in the pipeline (as of July 2015).
