Sales executives at The Palace, Old Town in Dubai are packaging spa and wellness treatments with meeting room bookings to improve the well-being of meetings delegates.

As well as driving sales, massages and treatments improve concentration levels and overall productivity, according to general manager Olivier R. Heuchenne.

"We want to be able to package in certain added value aspects such as the spa as a means to attract customers," he explained.

"There is a relaxation element included in our proposals to maximise the productivity of the people in the meetings."

Options range from adding on a spa treatment at the end of a meeting or during the lunch break, to an in-room neck and shoulder massage, he added.

As a basic offer, The Palace is offering 20% discount on any signature treatment when groups book a minimum of 10 rooms in the hotel.

The spa team recommends a 'Thirst for Energy and Vitality' treatment for busy executives in need of a pick-up.

The Palace is focused on small top-end meetings and events and puts major emphasis on its food and beverage outlets and outdoor areas as key selling points.
