Bassam Zakaria has been appointed as the new resident manager of Millennium Corniche Hotel Abu Dhabi.

Zakaria has more than 17 years of experience working in five-star properties having started his career in 2000 with Le Meridien in Damascus. He then worked with Hilton in Malta, eventually landing up in Dubai and then Al Ain. In 2006, Zakaria shifted to Rotana continuing in to work in sales. He then worked with four of the brand’s properties before moving on after a decade-long stint with Rotana.

In his new role, Zakaria will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s day to day operations, as well as implementing and leading efficient programmes to improve service and quality.

“We are delighted to welcome Zakaria in his new role at the Millennium Corniche and we are sure that with his enthusiasm and passion for what he does, he will add a lot to the team,” commented James Wilson, general manager of the hotel.
