AccorHotels has signed an agreement with Mawarid Finance to develop the new ibis Styles hotel, as well as new Dubai headquarters for Mawarid Finance.

The new ibis Styles hotel in Al Jaddaf, Dubai will be a 200-key property, expected to open in 2018. It will be the seventh ibis Styles hotel operating in the Middle East. AccorHotels currently operates two ibis Styles properties in the UAE (the 251 key ibis Styles Dragon Mart and the 191 key Ibis Styles Jumeirah).

AccorHotels operates more than 70 hotels in the Middle East (a total of 19,500 rooms), with an additional 50 hotels in the pipeline in the Middle East, adding an extra 13,500 rooms to the group’s portfolio in the region.

Facilities at the new hotel in Al Jaddaf will include an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby café, meeting room facilities, a gym and swimming pool.

Commenting on the signing, AccorHotels Middle East’s new MD and COO Olivier Granet said: “The unique nature of this development, combining office and hotel amenities in a single complex, will enable AccorHotels to further diversify our network of individually designed ‘lifestyle’ hotels and continue catering to business travellers within the region.”
