Andalus Hotels and Resorts has appointed Caroline Delbecque as its new CEO.

Delbecque was formerly with Jannah Hotels and Resorts as its chief operating officer.

She is a finance professional with more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry in the Middle East. Prior to her role at Jannah, she worked at the Anantara in Abu Dhabi and a string of Marriott properties in the UAE, including the JW Marriott Marquis.

The Al Seef Resort & Spa by Andalus serviced residences opened in March, located in Abu Dhabi, and comprises 210 luxurious apartments, which will open in phases.

“As a company, a singular view of profitability is not feasible. There needs to be a balance between commerce and taking care of people’s needs,” said Delbecque.

“Andalus Hotels and Resorts exists to give a glimpse of the majestic Al-Andalus era, a time of harmony and peace between multi-cultural diversity, and also to give back to this generous and warm community of Abu Dhabi I now call home,” she added.
