AccorHotels has signed a management agreement with Al-Mohammadia Almotahda to open the Novotel Suites Al Khobar.
Al-Mohammadia Almotahda is a family-run company based in Riyadh managed by Khaled and Fahad Al Turki.
The new signing will be the fourth project between AccorHotels and Al-Mohammadia Almotahda in Saudi Arabia, but represents the first in KSA’s eastern Al Khobar district.
The new signing, the Novotel Suites Al Khobar, will be a 196-key property. The suites at the Novotel are described by AccorHotels as ‘‘modular and flexible’’, allowing them to be adjusted to the needs of either business or leisure travellers.
Novotel Suites Al Khobar will be developed in an existing building with serviced appartments.
Facilities at the new hotel will include an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge, an indoor swimming pool and health club. The new Suadi hotel is expected to open in Q1 of 2018.
Commenting on the new signing, AccorHotels Middle East MD & COO Olivier Granet said: “As the Kingdom works towards its goal of attracting a larger number of tourists and building the infrastructure to support its local tourism industry, it has become an absolute necessity to develop a variety of different offerings for visitors. AccorHotels is committed to providing guests with a diverse range of options that meet our highest international standards.”
