Dubai's Media One Hotel has appointed Layla Howes as its new sales manager.
She brings to the role varied experience in people management. Her career began as a chef in the Royal Air Force in the UK, during which time Howes took part in training on basic military skills. She then developed her career in the retail and the recruitment sectors.
In 2009 she came to the UAE to work with Etihad Airways as food and beverage manager.
Howes has also worked for other corporate companies in the UAE including, Office Inspirations as sales manager.
Media One director of sales Ashmita Sequeira said: “Layla was selected for her strong skills in operational management and her experience across numerous industries. We are very pleased to have her join the sales team at Media One Hotel.”
