Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has revealed it will open its first property in Ras Al Khaimah, and fourth Four Points by Sheraton hotel in the UAE.
The upcoming Four Points by Sheraton Ras Al Khaimah is expected to open in Q1 2019. The new pipeline is part of Starwood's plans to double the Four Points by Sheraton portfolio in the Middle East, from four properties to eight, over the next five years.
The new Four Points by Sheraton Ras Al Khaimah will have 300 rooms and serviced apartments, plus four food and beverage outlets.
It will also feature a mixed use development for offices, residences and a shopping mall.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Africa and Middle East, senior vice president, acquisitions & development Neil George said: “We look forward to working together with Hamarain Real Estate to introduce our first property in Ras Al Khaimah.
"This deal is in line with the strong demand for affordable yet modern accommodation in the UAE and also underlines Ras Al Khaimah’s plan to enhance the destination and diversify its hotel portfolio.”
