A management agreement to open a Marriott in Abu Dhabi has been signed between Al Forsan Holding chairman H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Hajeri and Marriott International, Middle East and Africa president and managing director Alex Kyriakidis.

The hotel features 400 guestrooms and suites, seven restaurants and lounges, a spa and fitness centre, 50 meter lap and landscaped pools among other amenities.

"I am confident that Marriott's wealth of experience and family friendly style will add immense value to the Marriott Al Forsan Hotel. This strategic addition of a world class hotel within the Al Forsan Village ecosystem was conceived during the initial design phase of the project, and this will significantly benefit the tourists visiting Abu Dhabi and residents alike,” said Al Forsan Holding LLC Chairman H.E.
