The group, which was founded in 2000, currently operates two hotels within the GCC, both located in the UAE (Rixos the Palm and Rixos Bab Al Bahr), with a further 15 hotels operating in Turkey.

The Rixos JBR is currently expected to open in March 2017. Although no opening date is confirmed for the upcoming Rixos Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, the group has confirmed that the project is currently under construction.
