This week at The Hotel Show Dubai, Evonade officially launched Room Operations, which it describes as the 'ultimate housekeeping application'.

Room Operations automatically assigns and schedules tasks to each room attendant and routes requests to the correct department by creating work orders.

Evonade managing director Erkan Tatlidil outlined a number of key features to Hotelier Middle East, including how the application can easily determine the consumption of items per room, such as linen and consumables, and allows housekeepers to share information and photos of items in rooms that need to be repaired to maintenance staff.

“This is a cloud-based application that enables housekeeping operations from A-Z. It manages the whole process and allows you to be paperless.

"You don’t need expensive hardware or servers to run the application as it runs on any web-enabled device. It can run with any hotel that requires housekeeping, regardless of tier,” he elaborated.

Tatlidil added that the company had been testing Room Operations for about a year, prior to its official launch at the three-day trade event, and added that “there is no technology like this so far in the region".
