Sam Jones has been appointed as director of sales for Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre’s meetings and incentives business.
Jones has worked in international markets from the United States to Brazil, in sales and hospitality industry events, developing his career with chains including the W Hotel in Sydney, Starwood Central London Hotels and the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel.
Jones said in a statement: “I am thrilled to join the immensely talented team at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, a hotel that is set to grow with Dubai’s rise as a leading global MICE destination. With 5,500m2 of conferencing facilities, the hotel is adept at accommodating the most demanding business meetings as comfortably as an intimate private gathering.

Jones earned his Bachelor of business administration in hotel management and a Diploma in hospitality management from the International College of Management in Sydney, Australia.
