The St. Regis Doha has appointed Saleh Bataineh as its deputy general manager.

Bataineh stepped into his new role in December 2016 and will oversee all aspects of the St. Regis Doha including day-to-day operations as well as being involved in all facets of running the hotel.

Bataineh was awarded a promotion, moving up from the title of executive assistant manager to deputy general manager.

In his new position, Bataineh will also be closely involved in employee training, coaching and mentoring at all levels.

Prior to joining the St. Regis Doha, Bataineh worked at a number of prestigious brands including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where he had different leadership roles in cities like Amman, Toronto, Dubai and Beijing.

Before he joined the St. Regis Doha as EAM, Bataineh was the hotel manager at Four Seasons Cairo at The First Residence.

St. Regis Doha area general manager Tareq Derbas said: “Saleh has shown remarkable ability to provide comfortable and unique guest experiences along with leadership and management traits over the years, and we are delighted to have elevated him to the position of deputy general manager at the hotel.”
