The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain has welcomed Jean-Paul Dantil as the new general manager.

Dantil brings to Ritz over 20 years of hospitality experience. One of his key objectives will be to continue to grow the hotel’s position within the local, regional and international markets.

Dantil joins The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain from The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, where he served as the general manager for two-and-a-half years.

Of Argentinian-German heritage, he grew up spending time between the UK and Switzerland. Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Dantil opened the Das Stue hotel in Berlin - which was recently voted as one of the top ten hotels in Germany on Tripadvisor and Conde Nast Traveller.

Dantil said in a release that he was excited to return to The Middle East and the Kingdom of Bahrain: “I am thrilled to join The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain. The hotel is a remarkable property that I grew to admire and love during my previous stays such a guest, for its business and leisure travel offerings, beautiful outdoor landscape, fine art and culinary offerings. I look forward to working closely with the international hotel company in driving the top of the Kingdom’s hospitality scene.”
