Roda Hotels & Resorts has appointed Mohamed Aghoury as general manager of Roda Al Murooj Downtown Dubai.
“Roda Al Murooj is an integral part of Dubai society and I am excited to lead the team to drive the continued success of the property. Dubai has grown and developed at an incredible pace recently and I’m fortunate to be part of this vibrant community," Aghoury remarked.

Aghoury joins Roda Al Murooj from a variety of roles with Starwood Hotels and Resorts in the UAE as well as in Egypt , most recently as cluster general manager for The Meydan Hotel & Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, Aghoury is a Canadian citizen with years of international hospitality experience across various brand portfolios. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration as well as a sales and marketing diploma obtained at the American University of Cairo.
