Robots are making their way into hotel rooms with Aloft hotels introducing its new robot butler titled- 'Botlr', who delivers towels to the pool/room, according to a report in Fortune.com.

At Aloft, all you need to do is put in a request via the SPG app and housekeeping or room service will store your items in the Botlr's internal compartment before dispatching him to your room. Botlr gets around the property on his own via Wi-Fi. Guests receive a phone call and an adorable robot dance at delivery, reports Travel + Leisure magazine.

Aloft is slowly testing the robot butler at other US-based properties however it's not the first hotel to introduce this cool new technology.  Japan's Henn-na was the world's first hotel to be staffed entirely by robots.

'Botlr' accept tips in the form of tweets from guests.

Hotelier Middle East previously reported that CaliBurger has hired a robot called Flippy as a replacement short-order cook at the chain's Pasadena location.
