Jumeira Rotana Dubai distributed 100 iftar boxes to taxi drivers as part of its "The Act of Giving" initiative.
Jumeira Rotana Dubai marked its Ramadan celebration with the theme “The Act of Giving” and for five consecutive days, the hotel distributed 100 iftar boxes to taxi drivers passing by the hotel.
The boxes were handed out on hotel premises and provided each taxi driver with a box containing mixed nuts, dates, fruits, bread, water and juice.
“It is our pleasure to organize such initiatives, knowing that most of the taxi drivers are not having a proper iftar due to the nature of their job that is requiring them to be always on the road. That being said, we are delighted to share the spirit of giving and make it easier for them to break their fast while on the move," Jumeira Rotana general manager Ulrich Hoffmeister said.
For the past years, Jumeira Rotana has been active with "giving back" initiatives in support of community services and support of non-government organisations.
