Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Middle East and Africa has signed a franchise agreement with Yabous Group, the main investor behind Arab Hotels Company, for Millennium Ramallah Palestine Hotel.
The agreement marks Millennium Hotels and Resorts' entry into Palestine and a first step towards a master franchise agreement with Yabous Group’s portfolio of hotels.
Operating under the Millennium brand, Millennium Ramallah Palestine Hotel is scheduled to have its grand opening in August 2017.
Located in the administrative capital Ramallah, the five-star hotel offers 171 rooms alongside seven meeting rooms, a ballroom, three dining outlets, a fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool and a business centre, with access to high-speed internet.
Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA chief operating officer Kevork Deldelian said in a statement: "This signing marks the beginning of what we believe will be a long and fruitful relationship and further emphasises our commitment to expansion across the entire Middle East region."
"We are pleased to introduce the Millennium brand to the Palestinian market. Having a prominent global hotel operator such as Millennium Hotels and Resorts on board will add value to our hotel," added Amir Dajani, who is chairman of the board at Arab Hotels Company.
