A new 500-key four-star resort, expected to open by the fourth quarter of 2019, will be the newest addition to the beachfront landscape of Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.

The project spanning an area of 10,886 square metres is being developed by Mohamed Ruqait (MR) Properties to the value of AED 400 million (US$109 million).

This is MR Properties’ second development on the island, its first being the DoubleTree by Hilton in Al Marjan Island which at 723 keys is currently the largest hotel in the Northern Emirates and features the largest room inventory for Hilton in the UAE.

The new beachfront resort will house four F&B outlets, 450 metres of a private white sand beach, a 1,000 square metre pool and other recreational facilities including a children’s club, a health club and water sports facilities. An observation deck will also offer 360-degree views of the island.
