Ramada Downtown Dubai and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham JBR teamed up for breast cancer awareness activities.
Ramada Downtown Dubai and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham JBR joined the global observance of breast cancer awareness month in October with activities for its guests and associates.
The two properties organised a pink-themed 'Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch' at its family-friendly Friday brunches at Kenza and Flavours Restaurant. With the aim of raising awareness about the condition, the brunches incorporated a 'Pink and Facts Corner' showcasing information about breast cancer. The themed brunches included pink drinks, cupcakes, doughnuts, and a variety of desserts.
In partnership with Dubai's Thumbay Hospital, the hotels also organised a seminar, free check-up and screening for its female associates. An information session tackled the importance of regular screening and early detection to combat breast cancer.
