IP video and digital signage technology company Exterity has established a new hospitality-focused division called Accomtec, along with a new product, ArtioGuest.

Exterity CEO Colin Farquhar said in a statement: "The Middle East and ASIA-PAC markets are renowned the world over for their grand hotels, luxurious resorts and outstanding guest experiences, and over the past 15 years we have gained considerable experience and understanding of their complex AV and guest entertainment requirements.

"The establishment of Accommtec enables us to provide even greater focus on this important sector; leveraging Exterity’s expertise, best-in-class products and customer service excellence, we have the ability to operate globally and partner locally with our customers, technology partners and specialist systems integrators."

Exterity also revealed its new hotel-focused middleware portal, ArtioGuest, to provide an enhanced and intuitive in-room guest experience. Expected to be released within the first quarter of 2018, ArtioGuest enables the creation of relevant, customisable interfaces for accessing TV, video-on-demand, information, services and more, on any device.

The company works with a number of hospitality clients around the world, with a number of them in Asia Pacific and the Middle East - including Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Dusit Thani, Golden Tulip, Jumeirah Group, Mercure Hotels, Millennium Hotels, Six Senses and more. The airports Exterity works with include Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Muscat.
