Studio M, a mid-scale hotel brand by Millennium Hotels & Resorts, first hotel, Studio M Arabian Plaza is set to open in Q4 2018.

The three-star lifestyle hotel will be located next to Al Qiyadah Metro Station and will feature 223 rooms and 100 apartments and is targeted towards budget conscious travellers to the emirate.

Millennium Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East chief executive officer Kevork Deldelian noted that the property will add to the company’s growing inventory constructed to accommodate Dubai’s tourism target of 20 million visitors by the year 2020.

“The Studio M hotel is Millennium Hotels & Resorts’ contribution to the rising number of mid-scale brands in Dubai. In a city dominated by upscale and luxury hotel categories, the value-based option introduced by Studio M will attract and benefit travellers looking at stylish yet affordable accommodations when visiting Dubai. There is a great demand in the market for budget hotels and we hope to address this by opening the Studio M Arabian Plaza,” Deldelian said.

With generation Y tourists expected to reach nearly 50% of the tourism market by 2020, the Studio M brand aims to capitalise on the steadily growing demand from that’s sector, the statement said.
