IntercityHotel Riyadh, a Deutsche Hospitality brand, is set to start operations December 20. Located in the Saudi Arabia’s capital city, the opening of this hotel means the brand’s portfolio now includes ten countries.

The 82-room IntercityHotel Riyadh Malaz is a new build and has four suites, a lounge and café, and a main roof-top restaurant. The hotel is located in the commercial quarter of Al Malaz, with the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, Riyadh Zoo and the King Abdullah Park within close proximity, according to the release.

The Middle East is one of the main focuses of Deutsche Hospitality’s expansion activities. The group is already represented on the Arabian Peninsula in the shape of the Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay in Dubai and the IntercityHotel Salalah in Oman. The opening of the IntercityHotel Riyadh Malaz in Saudi Arabia increases the brand’s presence in the region to three countries.
